General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) has no intention of quietly accepting her future at boarding school, especially when St. Agatha’s is run by nuns. Could she and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) decide that running away is their only option?
Charlotte Feels Like Everything Is Falling Apart — And Danny Understands
Although Danny previously disagreed with Charlotte’s extreme attempt to convince Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to let him and Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) spend time together, the two teenagers appear to be among the few genuine friends each other has.
Neither Charlotte nor Danny has mentioned having many other people they can rely on. Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Scout are the main exceptions, although even those friendships have their complications.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may have accurately recognized Charlotte’s feelings when she described her as lonely and isolated on the inside.
Both Charlotte and Danny have already experienced difficult situations despite their young ages, although Rocco and Scout have faced their own challenges too. Danny certainly won’t be happy about Charlotte being sent away, while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has also ordered Charlotte to stay away from him. From the teenagers’ perspective, that may feel just as painful as Drew keeping Danny and Scout apart.
Danny and Charlotte Are Closely Bonded — But Both Can Act Without Thinking
Danny and Charlotte have developed an extremely close friendship, but both are known for making impulsive decisions and taking risks. That may explain why Drew has concerns about Danny spending time with Scout, and Valentin may now understand those concerns even more.
In many ways, Danny and Charlotte have become like family to one another, despite being only very distant cousins. Their bond is strong, which is why Carly is concerned about how Danny will react when his closest — and possibly only — friend is suddenly taken away.
When Rocco tells Danny about Charlotte being sent to boarding school in the Monday, September 28 episode, Danny could become extremely upset and potentially make another hasty decision.
Carly Talks to Lucas While Valentin Turns to Anna
Charlotte will attempt to change Lulu’s mind about the boarding school, even though Valentin has already made it clear that St. Agatha’s is happening. Their conversation could become heated as Charlotte pushes back against the decision.
Meanwhile, Valentin will turn to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to discuss his difficult decision concerning Charlotte, while Carly speaks with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
That could potentially give Danny an opportunity to reach Charlotte, depending on what Lulu becomes involved in.
Even if their escape plan only takes them as far as Egret Island, where they could potentially camp out, the teenagers might believe they would be harder to find there. Charlotte’s phone has already been taken away, and Danny may have lost access to his phone as well.
With both teenagers feeling trapped and emotionally connected, their next decision could be unpredictable.
